Yolo Community Care Continuum’s 2nd Annual Gala Dinner & Auction was truly

‘A Night of Inspiration and Hope’

YCCC extends a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our 2nd Annual Gala Dinner & Auction. Through your generosity, we continue to raise awareness and much needed funds to support the 700+ people we serve in Yolo, Glenn, Sonoma and Placer counties.

We would especially like to thank this year’s sponsors: CoSu Project, Clark Pacific, Davis Food Coop, Dignity Healthy, Hospital Council of Northern and Central California and Sierra Health Foundation.

Bob Dunning, once again, served as Master of Ceremonies, and did a fabulous job! His passion for mental health was evident throughout the evening and for that we are grateful.

The evening started off with our ‘Darrell Steinberg – Change Maker’ award presented to Dignity Health. Dignity Health has operated the Behavior Health Unit at Woodland Memorial Hospital for over 30 years caring for the community’s most underserved residents. YCCC and Dignity Health have been long time partners and we were pleased to honor them this year.

Other highlights from the evening were when our past and present clients and YCCC volunteers shared their stories of success through our cardboard testimonies presentation. We also heard from current Board of Directors Vice President, Tensy Torres, who shared her story of mental health struggles and how the help she received through YCCC’s programs have helped her achieve a successful, independent life.

If you missed this year’s event, don’t worry…we are already planning for 2018!!
