Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Live Scan fingerprint and Department of Justice background checks, TB clearance, a physical exam and a valid driver's license with a clean driving records.  Additionally, First Aid and CPR certifications must be obtained before employment and remain valid during employment.

CASE MANAGER
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Case Manager is responsible for functioning as a team member by providing support for clients on caseload.  This includes, but is not limited to:  active listening, personal plan development, housing referrals, assistance in securing income, assistance in budgeting, phone support, independent living skills support, crisis intervention and/or placement, assistance in accessing primary care, ongoing mental status assessments, encouraging and monitoring treatment compliance, drug and alcohol management and other service coordination. 
 
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent or training in psychology, social work or related field. Experience:  Two years experience providing services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities or homeless issues preferred.
Knowledge:  Knowledge of and belief in consumer centered services.  Knowledge of community resources.
Skills:  Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.  Bilingual preferred. 
 

MENTAL HEALTH WORKER
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Worker is responsible for providing direct services to clients and for facilitating the day-to-day operations of the program. The Mental Health Worker collaborates as a member of a multi-agency treatment team to develop and implement effective services. This is a non-exempt position.
 
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Coursework in psychology, social work or related field.
Experience: One year experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities.
Knowledge: Knowledge of and belief in the principles of consumer centered treatment. Knowledge of DSM-V, medications and interventions. Knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
Special Skills: Demonstrated ability to work as a team and independently. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
 

HOUSING NOW NETWORK ASSISTANT
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Housing Now Assistant is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Housing Now Program, as well as providing support to the Housing Now Program Director in the areas of administrative duties, documentation, direct service, reception, communication and outreach, donations coordination, coordination of services and safety.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: A high school degree.  Continuing education in the field of psychology, social work or related field preferred.  
Experience: Two years experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities and/or substance abuse is preferred. 
Knowledge: Knowledge of and belief in consumer-centered treatment.  Knowledge of psychiatric illnesses, DSM-V, medications and behavioral interventions. 
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 lbs., view and utilize a computer, read written material, document in written and/or typed form and drive within Yolo County.
Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance are required.  Hiring is contingent upon receiving Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance.  CPR and First Aid certifications are required.  Bilingual preferred.

 
HOUSING NAVIGATOR
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Housing Navigator is responsible for providing direct services to clients with assistance to obtaining, maintaining and retaining housing in Yolo County.  Additional client services may be needed as directed.

Education:  BA or equivalent or training in psychology, social work, or related field.
Experience:  Two years experience providing services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities or homeless issues preferred.
Knowledge:  Knowledge of and belief in consumer centered services.  Knowledge of community resources.
Skills:  Demonstrated ability to work individually and as a team member.
Physical Requirement:  Ability to lift 20 pounds, reach, push and pull without restriction.
Other Requirements:  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.  Must have own car, valid driver's license, clean driving record, personal automobile insurance and the ability to drive within Yolo County as needed.
 

ASSOCIATE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Director serves as the Program Director in the Program Director's absence.  The Associate Director is responsible for completing administrative duties to support the Program Director.  The Associate Director is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the program.  The Associate Director collaborates as a member of a multi-agency service team to develop and implement effective service strategies.  This is a full-time, exempt position.
 
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:  Master's degree in psychology, social work or counseling; intern status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
 
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in psychology, social work or related field.  One year of education may be substituted for one year of experience. 
Experience: Four years experience providing services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities.  One year of education may be substituted for one year of experience.  Supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge: Understanding of DSM-V, milieu therapy, crisis intervention, group and individual counseling, theories and technique, medications and behavioral oral interventions.  Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, as well as Medi-Cal documentation.
Special Skills: Strong ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team; excellent communication skills, both oral and written.  Ability to work in a stressful environment.

CLINICAL ASSISTANT

POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Assistant reports to the Program Director.  The Clinical Assistant is responsible for direct services to clients, coordinates the smooth day-to-day operations of the program and supports the Program Director in administrative duties as directed.  The Clinical Assistant collaborates as a member of a multi-agency service team to deliver effective services.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

PSYCHIATRIST
 
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for conducting psychiatric examinations and evaluations, making psychiatric diagnosis, applying psychiatric treatment and providing medical supervision and medication management for adult mental health clients.  
 
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:  Graduation from an approved medical school and satisfactory completion of a three year psychiatric residency approved by the American Medical Association.  Possession of a valid Physician's and Surgeon's License issued by the State of California.  Board certification preferred. 
Experience:  Two years of direct practice in either a mental health program or hospital setting.
Knowledge:  Understands principles and methods of psychiatry, uses and effects of medications in psychiatric and related conditions, working knowledge of current developments in the field of psychiatry, mental health and clinical psychology.
Special Skills:  Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.  Excellent communication skills both oral and written.  Ability to make expert psychiatric diagnoses, interpretations and recommendations.  Ability to provide effective medical therapy for a wide range of mental health clients.  
 
FARM MANAGER
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Farm Manager/pre-vocational Instructor is responsible for provision of direct service to clients and for facilitating the day-to-day operation of the pre-vocational program, client job assignments, and overall operation of a small-farm livestock and crops enterprise. Collaborates as a member of a multi-agency treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment strategies. 
 
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: BA preferred or equivalent training or experience in vocational, agricultural, animal husbandry and/or related fields.
Experience: Two years experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities and/or experience in vocational training preferred. Experience and/or knowledge in animal husbandry, crop rotation and sustainable agriculture preferred.
Knowledge: Knowledge of and belief in the principles of consumer centered treatment.
Special Skills: Demonstrated ability to work as a team member. Excellent communication skills: oral and written. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance required. Hiring contingent upon receiving Department of Justice fingerprint clearance. CPR, First Aid and TB test required.
Physical Requirements: Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to lift 75 pounds, walk ½ mile across pasture and plowed fields and operate power equipment and machines.
